a) Agent Authorisation, b) Search for registration precedents, c) If the previous step permits, application for registration thereby obtaining priority, d) Publication of application, e) Start of a two month public information period, during which any interested party who believes him or herself to be prejudiced may oppose the registration citing prior rights, f) In the event of opposition, the proceedings are suspended until the case is resolved by means of a hearing with the interested parties, g) Resolution of proceedings through concession or refusal, h) In the event of refusal, there is the option of presenting an appeal, i) Resolution of appeal presented against the refusal through its appraisal or dismissal, j) In the event of dismissal, there is the option of presenting a Contentious-Administrative appeal and, if this were to fail, an appeal to the Superior Courts of Justice. |
